WELCOME TO ICE!
For the past two years, ICE has been developing as a concept of communities being connected online. As a mother of four, a resident of Northbridge, and always seeking school and community information within our town and Valley, it became obvious to me that an internet resource was the answer for all of us. It’s finally here! And now it isn’t just me, it is a creation of ideas and requests from many many community members. ICE is now a “we”.
ICE is designed as a VEHICLE for information. Give it. Get it.
ICE is not just a “web site” – ICE is a program for our community. Please use it.
How Does ICE work?
We offer community programs a “vehicle” for getting their information into the community. Free of charge. Information from our schools, town offices, churches, scouting and sports programs (to name a few) are compiled into one-stop “clicking” – and we have only just begun!
Generous sponsors and advertisers benefit from such a large, local readership/audience.
We will eventually cover all twelve towns that comprise the Blackstone Valley.
Our Calendar of Events invites you to enter your activity/program yourself (or you can submit it to us). The Calendar includes “link capability” to get a great deal of information out about your event. Keeps you in touch!
The Classified Ad sections will provide local audiences buying and selling power at very affordable prices.
We Give Back!
This year we will be providing a scholarship to a college-bound student, criteria: strong community service and involvement. Information will be available soon.
“Promote Your Fundraiser” on ICE is coming soon. This allows community members to contribute to your fundraiser through ICE, for those who cannot attend your event, or who are not reached door-to-door with your sale items. We forward your information on to the community through a Fundraising Page within ICE, and they send their contribution directly to you. It is going to be a fun page!
ICE is offering to sponsor a team or program for this upcoming season/year.
Internships are available to high school students which will benefit both the individual and the development of ICE: community outreach combined with business responsibility.
We Reach All Audiences!
From the preschooler to the senior citizen; from the newcomer to the Valley to the new parents; from the teenagers to the teachers, and the accountant to the subcontractor, we are designed to grow to meet each audience. Ever evolving, you will constantly see newly- developed areas on ICE. We welcome your ideas as we progress.
