Arlo GuthrieThe Lancaster Coffee House will celebrate its 10th Anniversary by hosting the First Annual Nashua River Valley Folk Festival featuring Arlo Guthrie on August 5 from 11:00 am to 6:30 pm at the Lancaster Fairgrounds. Enjoy a day of great music and fun. Bring your chairs and blankets. There will be plenty of great food for sale, but please no alcohol. The WigglesAnyone with children under the age of five knows about The Wiggles - a four man band from Australia in brightly colored shirts and a Big Red Car. The Wiggles' lively music and fun shows are great for the little ones in your life. The Wiggles - Racing to the Rainbow show comes to the DCU Center this Friday, August 3 - get ready to wiggle!

 

Adopt A DuckWrap up the weekend in Sunday, August 5 with the Annual Burrillville Adopt A Duck Race. Sponsored by the Burrillville Lions Club and the Burrillville Parks and Recreation Department, the race is fun for all ages. The cost is $10 per duck and there will be prizes for the winners. The race begins at 2:00 pm at Shippie Bridge. All proceeds benefit the RI lions Club Children's Cancer Fund, the RI Lions Sight Foundation, and the Burrillville Parks and Recreation Department.
