Fontaine Productions, in a continual effort to
bring you useful and innovative products, introduces our first Virtual
Tour - Grafton.
Enjoy a pictorial of Grafton that includes the beautiful Town Common,
schools, municipal buildings, local landmarks and businesses, plus the
gentle beauty that defines the town.
Virtual Tours
are a great way of connecting with people including out-of-town
relatives and friends. It can also be a great tool for realtors to show
to prospective buyers showcasing their towns. The Virtual Tour lasts
approximately six minutes and is available in two Internet speeds for

Summer Outing at the Worcester Tornadoes
August 16
The Blackstone
Valley Chamber of Commerce will host its Summer
Outing at Fitton Field in Worcester as the Tornadoes take
on the Quebec Capitales, August 16 at 5:45 pm.
Tickets are $25 each and include a picnic and the game. For more

With the tragic
events this past weekend at the Bernat Mill in Uxbridge, the Blackstone
Valley Chamber of Commerce is spearheading the
relocation of many of the businesses that have been displaced by the

all - different levels for different ages, with prizes and more.

Waters
Farm 250th Birthday Celebration
August 11 & 12
Waters
Farm in Sutton will be
celebrating its 250th Birthday
August 11 and 12! There are many fun activities
and events to enjoy including an old fashioned Wagon
Train at 10:45 am on August 11 beginning at
Whittier's Milk Store on Douglas Road. The Train will travel by King's
Campground at about 1:00 pm and then make its way back to Waters
Farm via Oak
Street in Douglas and Central Turnpike in Sutton. Not to be missed!
The day
continues with a salute to the Beatles featuring, "Jukebox"
at 6:00 pm (gates open at 4:00 pm) on August 11. Tickets to the concert
are $12 each. Food will be available for purchase or you can bring
along a picnic. On August 12 the celebration continues with games,
activities, wagon rides,
demonstrations, and much more. At 3:00 pm the farm will host, "The
Shaw Brothers." Tickets are $10 and include
admission to the activities and concert. A fun weekend celebrating! For

Girl Scouts Registration
Camp Hickory Hill, Northbridge
A-Camping-We-Will-Go! The Girl
Scouts of Northbridge will be holding Registration
and Exploration Day at Camp Hickory Hill (Prentice Road in
Whitinsville) on Monday, August 13 from 5:00 pm to
8:00 pm. In case of inclement weather, registration
will be held at St. Patrick's Parish Center on Cross Street in
Whitinsville. Girl Scouts is open to girls ages 5 to 17. Come
enjoy The Girl Scouting Exploration Stations, take a hike (must be
accompanied by an adult), and find out more about Girl Scouts. The
registration fee is $10 (financial aid is available) and all scouts
need a current Immunization Record. For more information contact

From The Ashes Benefit
Alternatives' Community Art Gallery
Once
again, our community shows a force of spirit in picking up and going
on!
As a benefit for those displaced by the Bernat Mill fire in Uxbridge,
artists from the mill will be exhibiting their works, some rescued
from the fire, in Art from the Ashes at Alternatives'
Community Art Gallery, 5 South Main Street, Uxbridge. The Exhibition
will open on August 10 with a kick off
from 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Those
attending the show are asked to bring a donation of art supplies - new
or good, usable paints, papers, canvas, crayons, brushes, hammers, or
pliers. All tax deductible donations should be brought to
Alternatives's Community Art Gallery in Uxbridge. Checks should be made
payable to Alternatives and all funds will be given over to the

Valley Great Escape
Putnam,
Connecticut
Located in the Heart of the Quiet Corner of Northeastern
Connecticut, Putnam is postcard pretty with winding
country roads and beautiful vistas. Also referred to as the Last Green
Valley in the Northeast, this area is "urban-free" with a
gentleness that fills your soul. Winding through town is the Quinebaug
River, home to the River Trail. From antiques to shopping to dining -
its a great day trip.
This Saturday, August 11, Putnam will play host to a
whole day of fun events and activities. Start the morning with the
Dreary Road Race, then make your way to the Well Wishers Block
Party from 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm, followed by the ARC Duck Race at 6:30 pm
and then at dusk the Quinebaug River will come to life with River Fire.
