Northbridge Education Foundation

 

ICE Gives BackICE announces it newest program - ICE Gives Back. ICE is a program designed to give back to the community. Whether  promoting events and programs, advertising, or direct support, ICE is here to help.

 

ICE's first mission is the Northbridge Education Foundation. The NEF is an independent, community-based organization established to raise funds to offset the cost of funding the activities, clubs and sports in the Northbridge Public Schools, Kindergarten through Grade 12. Programs will be funded through NEF grants.

 

Join the

on July 14 at 7:30 pm at the American Legion Hall in Rockdale for a fun night of music, dancing, raffles & more. All proceeds from the event (including the door charge) will go to the Northbridge Education Foundation.

 

Don't miss this fun event! To give back, ICE  will  commit 50% of classified advertising income from June, July, and August to the Northbridge Education Foundation. Waters Farm Donkey & Mule Show 

July 14

 

Have you ever seen a donkey show? Do you have a donkey and would like to show it? Then get to Waters Farm in Sutton this Saturday for a great time. The Waters Farm Donkey and Mule Show and Tack Sale will begin at 9:30 am on July 14.

4th Annual Thunder In The Valley Motorcycle Ride

July 14, Uxbridge

 

The 4th Annual Thunder in the Valley Memorial Ride in honor of Officer Chet Dzivasen will be held on July 14. Registration begins at 9:00 am at the Uxbridge VFW Post 1385. Following the ride will be a barbecue Thunder in the Valleywith entertainment at 5:00 pm. The event is sponsored by the Uxbridge Police Association, The VFW Post 1385, Thunder Valley Custom Motorcycles, and Five Star Screening. Ticket are $15 and include the ride, prizes, dinner and entertainment. For more information contact 508-278-7755.

Uxbridge First Holiday Night

Hannaford SupermarketThen on Saturday July 14, make your way over the Hannaford Supermarket in Uxbridge for Christmas in July. The event, hosted by the Uxbridge First Holiday Night Committee, will run from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm and include a moon walk, basketball throw, face painting, and pictures with Santa.

Sweetwilliam Farm

Upton will be the place for the Kids Summer Fest at Sweetwilliam Farm. Enjoy a fun afternoon of music, activities and vendors, from noon to 4:00 pm on July 14. At 1:00 pm, Mike the Music man will perform. Admission is free. For more information contact 508-529-2000.

Summer Community Band Looking for Musicians!

 

Millbury High School Music DepartmentAre you musically inclined? Feeling as if you want to pull that trumpet out of the closet and dust it off? Dan Ferreira, Director of the Millbury Jr. Sr. High School Music Department, is seeking musicians from Millbury, Sutton, and Grafton interested in participating in a new Summer Community Band. Open to students and adults in Grade 8 and up, the band will rehearse Tuesdays at 6:00 pm at Millbury High School with concerts scheduled for August 18 and August 21. Blissful Meadows, Uxbridge

Take Your Daughter to the Golf Course WeekIts all about girls this week at Blissful Meadows Golf Course in Uxbridge! Part of a national celebration by the National Golf Course Owners Association, Blissful Meadows is offering a free golf clinic for girls on Friday, July 13 at 3:30 pm. In addition, there is a Parent & Daughter Tournament on July 14 at 12:30 pm. The entry fee is $25 per team and includes a free clinic, a warm-up bucket of range balls, a marshmallow long drive and putting contests, as well as a nine hole scramble tournament with contests and prizes.
