ICE Gives Back

ICE announces it newest program - ICE Gives Back. ICE is a program designed to give back to the community. Whether  promoting events and programs, advertising, or direct support, ICE is here to help.

 

ICE's first mission is the Northbridge Education Foundation. The NEF is an independent, community-based organization established to raise funds to offset the cost of funding the activities, clubs and sports in the Northbridge Public Schools, Kindergarten through Grade 12. Programs will be funded through NEF grants.

 

Don't miss this fun event! To give back, ICE  will  commit 50% of classified advertising income from June, July, and August to the Northbridge Education Foundation. ICE is seeking a Qualified Sales Associate to join the ICE team. Blackstone Valley Celtic FestivalICE Summer Camp GuideThe day long festival will feature music, dance, children's entertainment, food, and a Celtic merchant's village. The festival will be emceed by comedian George Casey, and include the Tulach Ard Pipe Band, Nan Tom Teaimin, Robbie O'Connell, Charlie Zahm, the Worcester Kiltie Pipe Band, Mary McInerney's Irish Step Dancers, Paddy Keenan, Celtic Springand many more, including Celtic Spring, straight from the finals of NBC's, "America's Got Talent" program. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows 

July 21

 

Harry Potter and the Deathly HallowsUnless you have been living under a rock, you have heard that the seventh and final installment of the Harry Potter series of stories. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is due to hit bookstores on July 21. A thrill for both children and adults, Harry Potter has captured many imaginations. Even those that have not read each book cover to cover, know that there is great intrigue as to what will ultimately happen in the last chapter.

 

To celebrate this grand occasion, there will be, "Midnight Madness" type parties across our valley as people dressed in costume gather to purchase and then devour the newest book. Higgins Armory is one such place, hosting a weekend event featuring Hogwarts activities and Harry trivia games. Barnes and Noble and Borders stores will also host parties with the highlight at the stroke of midnight being the delivery of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer at Foothills TheatreThe Summer Children's Series at Foothills Theatre in Worcester is staging, "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" July 18 to 28. Broad Meadow Brook 

July 21 and 22

 

DragonflyThe Massachusetts Audubon Society's Broad Meadow Brook in Worcester is full of activities this summer and this weekend is no exception. On Saturday, July 21 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, come find out all there is to know about Dragonflies. The program is designed for ages 8 and up. Then on Sunday, July 22 fro 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, come hike the Blackstone Bikeway and see the latest addition to the Broad Meadow Brook Sanctuary. For more information contact 508-753-6087.
